Description

NerdHerder is a unique motion-controlled table-top augmented reality puzzle game. Herd nerds through a distracting office space. Help them avoid managers, deal with annoying paperwork, overcome their fear of sports, and chase down donuts, coffee and techie toys.

I developed NerdHerder as part of my graduate research at Georgia Tech. My team wanted to explore new and innovative uses for augmented reality in games. We started with a simple prototype developed by a former team of students and brought it to completion. We iterated on several different control mechanics that involved the player’s physical motions and spacial relationship to the target marking. After months of testing, we finally settled on the fishing hook mechanic in the final game.

This is probably the game that I am most proud of so far.
